Biscotti with a jar of JEM Organics Pecan Hazelnut Butter

Hazelnut Pecan Biscotti

Need a little crunch in your morning routine or an afternoon delight to go with your coffee? Try these sweet maple pecan biscotti bars, the perfect accompaniment to any tea or coffee!


  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup Maple Pecan Hazelnut Butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ½  cups all purpose flour
  • 1 ½  tsp baking powder
  • ½  tsp salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup shredded coconut


  1. Preheat your oven to 350° F
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. In a medium size bowl combine the eggs, nut butter, sugar, and vanilla and whisk until smooth.
  4. Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well until all the flour is incorporated.
  5. Shape the dough into a long log, about 3’’ by 11’’ on the baking tray.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Lower the oven temperature to 325 degrees F.
  8. Move the log to a cutting board and using a long serrated knife, slice into a diagonal 1” thick sliced cookie
  9. Move the cookies cut side down back to the baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.
  10. Flip the cookies and bake for another 10 minutes.
